Launch of the INDOOR-GRASP Transnational Access at INSA Lyon
On September 16-17, 2024, a user’s group participated in the installation of a green roof at INSA Lyon. During the first day, Co-UDlabs partners gave an initial presentation and demonstration of the models and software tools developed at INSA Lyon to simulate green roofs: URBIS (publicly available at https://deep.insa-lyon.fr/fr/content/urbis), and GEPETO (will be publicly available in the next months, after an official Technical Certificate given by the French institution CSTB will be obtained by Le Prieuré green roof company).
After reception of the vegetation layer, the second day was dedicated to its installation on the green roof. Participants watered the green roof until saturation was obtained and outflow was observed and measured. They finally checked that data were well recorded on the data logger.
